There are slip on styles, lace ups, clogs, and some walking shoes with Velcro closures. Those are nice for those whose feet swell towards the end of a long day. They give the option to adjust the shoe without the bother of untying laces. Each style comes in a number of colors. I counted six different colors in just the ballerina shoes.

You can buy walking cradle shoes in many fine department stores or online. They are no more expensive than any good shoe, with some styles going for as little as $30.00. Hey, I’d rather pay a bit more and not have my feet hurt. Shoes are an investment. Our grandparents believed that good shoes were a necessity and I think all of us have forgotten that in our pursuit of fashion. You get what you pay for, that’s for sure.
